ABOUT THE PCCM-ABS2026

Prashanti Cancer Care Mission’s Annual Breast Summit 2026 will bring together clinicians and researchers focusing on breast cancer management and research. The event will be a unique blend of current clinical practice interwoven with the cutting-edge advances in breast cancer research. PCCM-ABS2026 is a one-of-its-kind summit that will for the first time in India integrate clinical and research discussions on the same forum. The summit offers a unique opportunity for breast cancer professionals to engage in dynamic discussions, exchange innovative ideas, and explore potential avenues for collaborative research. The dialogue between clinicians and researchers will pave the way for more clinically relevant population specific research that will ultimately contribute to improving outcomes of breast cancer patients in the country. The summit will have a mixture of talks, panel discussion and clinical case discussions as well as a dedicated poster session.

ABOUT PRASHANTI CANCER CARE MISSION

Prashanti Cancer Care Mission (PCCM) is a registered non-profit organization in Pune, India committed to providing comprehensive breast cancer care. PCCM has a multi-pronged approach towards Breast Cancer Management- along with a state of art breast cancer-focused health care unit, PCCM is very active in capacity building and also runs an impactful and exemplary research program. PCCM offers state-of-the-art affordable diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive care services to breast cancer patients through its clinic Orchids Breast Health run in association with Jehangir Hospital. The research program at PCCM, which traverses from clinical to molecular to translational research in breast cancer is run through PCCM’s research arm, the Centre for Translational Cancer Research (CTCR), established in partnership with IISER Pune with seed funding from Bajaj Auto CSR. PCCM also established the first breast tissue biobank in Pune along with a detailed annotated clinical database, an essential resource for clinical audits as well as translational breast cancer research. Additionally, PCCM is also actively involved in improving community awareness about breast cancer through its science communication and outreach activities.

On the capacity building front, PCCM is actively involved in education and has been providing training in the niche field of oncoplastic breast surgery through its association with University of East Anglia (UEA). Through periodic hands­-on oncoplastic training workshops and the e-learning platform, BreastGlobal platform PCCM has also been contributing significantly to e-learning opportunities focusing on the latest advancements in breast cancer management.
